Late Harvest Vignoles
This late harvest style wine is made with fruit from vineyards planted in the mid-1970's. Vignoles is a French-hybrid grape that produces fruit high in acidity and sugars. When infected with botrytis, the berries turn into raisins, concentrating the flavors and sugars along the way. hand harvesting this variety allows us to make different styles of vignoles, off-dry, semi-sweet and dessert.
Enjoy this Late Harvest Vignoles after dinner as a dessert wine or with a cheese course.
