Grüner Veltliner
The fruit was crushed, de-stemmed and fermentation began on the skins.
The presence of skins during the first part of fermentation introduced some spicy notes and added a bit of texture to the wine.
Aging in neutral oak barrels also provided another layer of textural components without overpowering the taste palate.
